Is there a Doctor in the house?

Somehow, I managed to tear one of the muscles that hides somewhere under the latissimus dorsai. I did it by sneezing rather too forcefully. Sneezing. How embarrassing. Hurts like heck, especially when I laugh.

All in all, though, if I have to suffer something in that region of the body, better a torn muscle than Imaginary Lat Syndrome.

Fortunately, I am under no such delusions.

"Why yes, I would like that super-sized, thanks...."

Empathy to you! I had the same last week in a shoulder thingy. Almost well now, thankfully.

I can empathize... last year I strained a muscle in my back by coughing. I invented a non-existent sports injury to cover for the awful truth.

You may have cracked a rib. Sneezing sometimes does that. If you did, there isn't much to do about it, other than wear a very uncomfortable big-assed Ace-type bandage thing.

Hope you feel better soon.

Fortunately, the painkiller I take for my periodic spinal problems has worked remarkably well - as has a couple days of taking it easy.

Now it just feels like a big bruise... healing, but still a nuisance.
