Post-election Chat

My first conversation this morning, with a buddy who goes by "darth" on IM:

darth: Kerry is supposed to give his concession speech after lunch...
Me: so I have read
Me: he can do basic math
darth: yeah...but for some reason, he can't seem to get past the "60s"

That may well sum up the entire campaign.

Oh my gosh, that was so freaking funny!

Thank you to Darth for the immense chuckle!

Well it is nice to see that Mr Kerry has some sense of reality. As "spirited" as the campaign has been, we should be thankful not to have to deal with days or weeks of wrangling over the results. For that, we should thank every Bush supporter who participated in one of the best voter turn-outs ever, we should thank the media for not screwing it up, and we should thank Mr Kerry, who is resisting the temptation to be a sore loser.

I wonder how Mr Daschle is taking his beating?

Well said, Brad.

Tucker Carlson once said...I think..."Why would people line up to vote for more of the same?"

We did:

We lined up to vote for more of the type of leadership that protects us against our enemies.

We lined up to vote for more of the type of leadership that believes America is a wonderful place to put your faith into.

We lined up to vote for more of the same leadership that doesn't trust Eurabia and the UN enough to run our affairs for us...
