SCOTUS Sexist, Racist

It won't be long before we hear complaints from the feministas and the race hustlers that Bush has chosen a white guy for the Supreme Court.

Tough.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks it is both sexist and racist to assume that only women or minorities are capable of judging issues related to women and minorities.

Oh yeah, the Angry white male stereotype is about to kick in BIG TIME.

This is going to be a lot of fun, though, I think. Reid and his crew are really caught in between a rock and a hard place...they need to filibister this nomination to keep their masters at MoveOn and Kos happy, but this isn't a nominee that the public will see as an extremist.

What to do?

I'm getting the figurative popcorn out, it's gonna be a long and good confirmation process.

One just need to remind them that Renquist's days are numbered. There's really no sence in throwing a hissy when there will soon be another slot to fill.

And Lord forgive me for saying this , but if there isn't a second replacement on the bench before Bush leaves office , and the democrats take office.

You can look forward to a very liberal if not female also to be appointed on the bench.

Because the bench is all about the " culture war " there now.
